Clothing Mist – The Final Odor Solution

What do you do when your clothes smell bad? Is there a way to even prevent these smells? In this article we will try to dig a little deeper into odors, sour smells and BO related problems – and we do believe that we will be able to present a solution.

Past vs. Present

An odor is another word for a smell. People have different ideas of what smells nice and what smells terrible, and what type of smells that trigger pleasant memories or nor. Still, most people agree that clothes that reek of sweat, fried food or whatever it may be, feel somewhat unpleasant.

Until now, the old housewife tricks, like using white vinegar, baking soda, airing and putting garments in the freezer, have been frequently used. These tricks aren’t totally useless, but the result can vary depending on the fabric and type of smell. However, there is one solution that outsmarts them all: our own product, the amazing Clothing & Shoe Mist.

This unique formula is a real game changer! Just put your garments on hangers, spray the mist directly on the fabrics, and TA-DAH – your clothes are ready to be worn again. When needed, spray the inside of your shoes to instantly make them feel fresher. And please note that this is not a scented spray that just conceals the odor.

So, How on Earth Does This Work?

The Mist uses the power of nature’s own cleaners, microbes. They take care of the biological degradation in nature, by producing enzymes and other substances that break down organic matter. Microbes are also a vital part of human health and our ecosystem. In simple terms: The good bacteria “eat” the bad ones.

What’s in the bottle?

Water (of course), bacterial culture and perfumes. <3% non-ionic surfactant, methylisothiazolinone, benzisothiazolinone and n-octylisothiazolinone.

How does the Clothing & Shoe Mist affect the ecosystem?

This product is easily biodegradable (within hours). The packaging is made of recyclable plastic and should be sorted as hard plastic packaging.

The Smelly Tanktop

On a more personal note. I recently experienced a bit of revelation moment myself. I accidentally left my favorite workout tank top in the backpack for a few days. After washing it in a regular 40° spin cycle I thought that the sour smell was gone. But, to my disappointment, the next time I used it and started to sweat – yes, it happens to the best of us – that sour and very unpleasant smell reappeared.

What was I supposed to do now? I didn’t feel like retiring my favorite tank top. So, I decided to wash one more time, and this time I presoaked it with a liquid laundry detergent. This nearly worked. At least I thought so …. The next time I wore it I was extra cautious and kind of searched for the odor with a detective’s nose. It was definitely still there. Argghhh!

ONE more option left. The Mist! The Clothing Mist that people at the office had been praising for some time. I put the tank top on a hanger and went bananas. Sprayed it inside and outside. Then I left it hanging close to an open window and by opening another window I created a draft. Die odor, die!

… and YES! It worked! It actually DID work! The bad smell was finally gone for real.
